b'HUCKLEBERRY CRISPTom & Eileen Barbieris family favorite By Reny Wall, NordmanTOPPING:4 cups huckleberries 1cup quick-cooking oatmeal (dry)1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2cup brown sugar1Tbsp. flour 1/2cup flour1/2tsp. cinnamon1/2cup butterSpread berries on paper towels to absorb extra moisture from rinsing or defrosting berries. Combine sugar and flour in a bowl. Add the berries and toss gently. Pour the berries into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish. Prepare the topping: Combine the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the huckleberries. Bake in a preheated 375* oven for about 30 minutes or until top is golden and crisp.
