2016 Coeur d'Alene Marathon / Half-Marathon / 5K

Due to the Covid-19, The Coeur d’Alene Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5k fun run will take place over three days beginning Friday, the 1,700 or so participants who’ve signed up to cover 26.2 miles (or shorter distances, including half-marathon, 10K and 5K options) mostly along the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene will begin in waves of eight people, the largest permissible group allowed by local health officials. Sort of like golfing. They’ll start at running intervals – no starter gun, no jockeying for position on a crowded street or trail. Spectators will be able to track their athletes via smartphone app, and instead of the traditional paper cups of water handed out by volunteers, there will be tables of bottled water and other refreshments along the course for runners to grab and go.

offers one of the most spectacular events in the country. At an elevation of 2200 feet above sea level, the resort community of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, resting on the shores of spectacular Lake Coeur d’Alene, welcomes visitors to a plethora of vacation and recreational activities. The welcoming community and natural beauty have drawn events such as the 70.3 ronman USA Triathlon Coeur d’Alene, held here each year in June and the Full IronMan (140.6) in August.
