4th of July Celebrations

Clark Fork Fourth of July
Parade begins at 9:30 a.m.
Foot races, food and raffles in the Clark Fork High School yard.
1 p.m.:  Airplane drop at the Clark Fork ball field where coupons for snacks and drinks at local businesses are showered down over the field by a small plane.
A watermelon eating contest, frog and turtle races, tug-of-war and money-in-the-hay games, and a dunk tank all provide entertainment for the kids. Logging competitions include an axe throw, pole climb, chainsaw cutting and two-man cross-cut saw challenges.

Coeur d'Alene Fourth of July Parade
Parade starts at 10:00am.
The day kicks off with the American Heroes Parade at 11:00am on Sherman Avenue. 
After the parade, spend the afternoon at Coeur d'Alene City Park while enjoying the offerings of food and live music.
Parking is available in the city lots - cost $20. 
Stay to watch North Idaho's largest fireworks display Downtown over Lake Coeur d'Alene at dusk (about 9:45-10:00pm), which can be seen for miles along the lake shore.
