Silverwood Theme Park has over 65 rides, slides, shows and attractions, including four roller coasters, Boulder Beach Water Park, a steam engine train, live entertainment, restaurants, and a first of its kind in the world: A 104 foot tall thrill ride with a cylindrical-shaped vehicle that seats 24 people facing outward, with legs dangling and wearing only a harness. The vehicle rotates 360 degrees at 13 revolutions per minute while at the same time swings like a giant pendulum all the way upside down 104 feet above the ground bringing riders all the way around over and over again at three and a half times the normal gravitational pull. Will you be able to handle it?
Catch the Big One
One hundred lakes within a hundred miles and wide variety of fish such as Chinook salmon, Northern pike, Sm & Lg mouth bass as well as tasty Kokanee makes this area an anglers dream. Here's what you'll need:
An Idaho fishing license valid for the year you want to fish. Different licenses are issued to residents and nonresidents.
A special resident permit is needed to fish for salmon or steelhead.
Nonresidents can get a 3-day nonresident permit (includes a fishing license).
A two-pole permit is available for resident anglers who want to fish with two poles. Nonresidents can also buy a permit to fish with 2 poles.
